Isaiah 34:6-8

6 The sword of the Lord is filled with blood,
It is ^{▼▼ Lit made fat}sated with fat, with the blood of lambs and goats,
With the fat of the kidneys of rams.
For the Lord has a sacrifice in ^bBozrah
And a great slaughter in the land of ^cEdom.
7 ^dWild oxen will also ^{▼▼ Lit go down}fall with them
And ^fyoung bulls with strong ones;
Thus their land will be ^gsoaked with blood,
And their dust ^{▼▼ Lit made fat}become greasy with fat.
8 For the Lord has a day of ⁱvengeance,
A year of recompense for the ^{▼▼ Or controversy}cause of Zion.
